The store that the grounds have a nice section for a ton of emergency situations, extra things you need for your camper, and nice little grocery section for quick things you most likely missed. Located just off of I-55 south of Springfield IL, this is one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed at in a while. I'd say it's better than 90% of the KOA's we've stayed in. They have a large pool, putt putt, pedal car track, frisbee golf practice area and several photo ops around the park with themed signs. The roads and sites are pea gravel so there is not dust and each site has a concrete patio. Almost all sites are pull thru with the back in sites being for what appears to be permanent residents. The permanent sites are also well maintained, not like you see in some parks. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic time as a family! We went to the Illinois State Fair and relaxed at the pool in the evening. Campground is well maintaining very quiet and we will be back!
