We have stayed at the Double J RV park quite a bit, sometimes for a short period and other times for a month or two. It is a fantastic RV park and I can’t say enough good things about it. The owners clearly take great pride in what they do—they’re incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always working to improve the park. You can tell they stay on top of maintenance and are constantly making updates to keep everything clean, comfortable, and well-kept. If you stay there, you will see the owners either outside working on maintenance or improvements or inside the office. The location is great and it is easy to get to. The pricing is very reasonable. Most of the sites offer nice shade, which is a big plus, and they’re full hook-up, making the stay very convenient. We also really appreciated that some of the sites are extra long, so you don’t even have to unhook—such a nice perk, especially for shorter stays. Overall, this is a well-run, peaceful place with attentive owners who genuinely care about their guests’ experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. We actually already have our reservations for next year and can’t wait to return!

We were doing a road trip from Chicago to Austin and we stopped around 10PM at the Double J Campground in Springfield, IL. We booked in advance and the staff greeted us with open arms. We were let in and we found our spot pretty quickly. The spot was very large and able to hold our camper pretty well. It was very quiet and comfortable. I would go here again!

Nice sites and friendly management. Easy access to interstate and short drive to Chatham and Springfield, but still quiet. Loved our end cap site! It was very spacious and long - great for our truck and 43’ fifth wheel. Also enjoyed the walking paths for our dog.
